Inspired by the Christmassy flavours of gingerbread, this smoothie has all the flavours but none of the sugars.

Made with only a few ingredients, this smoothie is fruit sweetened only and flavoured with gingerbread spices.

TO MAKE THIS YOU WILL NEED
  • frozen banana (using a frozen banana will thicken the smoothie, you can however also use a fresh banana)

  • almond or oat milk or milk of choice

  • ground cinnamon

  • ground ginger

  • ground all spice

  • ground nutmeg

  • chia seeds

GOOD FOR BREAKFAST

To make this into a breakfast smoothie you can add 20g rolled oats and blend with the rest of the ingredients until smooth. Add more almond milk if the smoothie is too thick for your liking.

For a nut-free version use a nut-free milk, such as oat milk.
