Sea salt and crushed black pepper spiced cashews, roasted until golden and crunchy. I have to warn you these are dangerously delicious and slightly addictive.

Enjoy these as a simple snack or add them to tossed salad or curries for crunch and extra flavour.

Salt and Pepper Cashews

TO MAKE THESE YOU WILL NEED

  • raw cashew nuts

  • ground nut oil

  • sea salt

  • black pepper

HOW TO MAKE THESE

It's as easy as mixing the ingredients together and roasting them in the oven until golden. Let them cool and enjoy!

My tip is to add the oil to the roasting tray and place it in the oven as the oven preheats. This will heat up the oil, before adding the nuts.

WHY YOU WILL LOVE THESE

  • a delicious snack, so quick and easy to make.

  • it's cheaper to make them from scratch then buying them from the supermarket

  • you can make only as much as you need - good for portion control!

HOW TO STORE

Once completely cooled, store them in an airtight container for about 1 week. They might keep longer, but I have not been able to test that yet as they don't last long in our home.
