An easy and super delicious smoothie, with the classic peanut butter and jelly flavours. This is a tasty and healthy twist on the classic sandwich.
Made with only a handful of ingredients, this smoothie makes a great breakfast or an afternoon pick-me up.

TO MAKE THIS YOU WILL NEED
PEANUT BUTTER
Make sure to use one that is made from 100% peanuts, without any added sugars or oils.
BERRIES
Strawberries work especially well, but other berries such as blueberries, cherries or raspberries are delicious too!
I recommend using frozen berries as this will thicken the smoothie.
BANANA
Adding frozen banana gives the smoothie a thicker, creamier consistency. You can however use fresh banana if you don't have any in the freezer.
ALMOND MILK
I used Almond milk to make this, however you can use any milk of choice.
PROTEIN POWDER (OPTIONAL)
I added a scoop of peanut butter flavoured protein powder, but this is completely optional.
Adding protein powder will make this a healthy post-workout treat!
OTHER ADD-IN OPTIONS
Add a tablespoon of oats to make this a more substantial breakfast smoothie
Add chia or flaxseeds

ALL THE FLAVOURS, WITHOUT THE BREAD
This smoothie is vitamins rich and has no added sugar.
For a nut-free option make sure to use a nut-free milk
TIPS ON MAKING A GOOD SMOOTHIE
Using frozen fruit will give the smoothie a thicker consistency.
Make sure to use a good quality peanut butter without any additives to keep it as healthy as possible.
Blend until the texture is completely smooth, without any bits.
Make sure to use a good high-speed blender.

Serves: 1 - 2
INGREDIENTS
1 frozen banana
1 cup frozen strawberries or berries of choice
1 tbsp peanut butter, unsalted and unsweetened
1 cup almond milk, or milk of choice
1 scoop peanut butter protein powder (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
Blend all the ingredients in a high-speed blender until completely smooth. Add more liquid if you prefer a runnier consistency. Enjoy immediately!
